Owner Trained Service Dog Program
At Muskoseepi Service Dogs, we understand the importance of the bond between service dog owners and their dogs. That is why we offer owner coaching to help you effectively train and work with your service dog.
Our coaching program is designed to help dog owners understand the needs of their service dogs and develop the skills necessary to train their dogs for autism, diabetic alert, facility, hearing alert, mobility, and PTSD support.
Autism Service Dogs
Autism service dogs play a crucial role in the lives of individuals with autism spectrum disorders. Our training program focuses on teaching these dogs skills that provide comfort, support, and independence for their handlers.
This includes helping to reduce anxiety, enhancing communication, and promoting social interaction.
Diabetic Service Dogs
Our diabetic alert dog training program is designed to help service dogs detect and alert their handlers to dangerous blood sugar levels. These dogs are trained to recognize the scent of low or high blood sugar and to alert their handlers, allowing for timely intervention and management of diabetes.
Facility Service Dogs
Facility dogs are trained to provide support and comfort to individuals in various settings, such as hospitals, schools, and nursing homes. Our facility dog training program focuses on teaching dogs the necessary skills to navigate these environments while providing emotional support and therapeutic benefits to those they serve.
Hearing Alert Dogs
Muskoseepi Service Dogs’ hearing alert dog training program is tailored to teach dogs to assist individuals with hearing impairments. These dogs are trained to alert their handlers to important sounds, such as doorbells, alarms, or crying babies, providing increased independence and confidence for their handlers.
Mobility Service Dogs
Our mobility assistance dog training program focuses on teaching dogs to support individuals with physical disabilities. These dogs are trained to perform tasks, such as opening doors, retrieving objects, and providing balance and stability for their handlers.
Psychiatric Service Dogs
Our Psychiatric service dog training program is designed to help dogs provide emotional support and practical assistance to individuals with post‑traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, depression etc. These dogs are trained to recognize and respond to anxiety and stress symptoms, providing comfort and assistance during difficult moments.
